Ecological Commitment

The National Convention Committee planted 10'000 seedlings, which are now growing under protection until they become young trees in 18 months, which are then replanted in the wild.
Three varieties of trees were planted:
- Eukalyptus (lokalname: Umukaratusi)
- Titonia (lokalname: umubirizi)
- Roter Bambus (lokalname: umusuna)

Together with you, it is our goal to plant at least 30,000 trees equivalent to more than 110 soccer fields. Every Lions club, donator and sponsor can contribute in order to support this activity.
